Not in the dark tonight?
Is there actually a possibility that you won't be in the dark tonight?
Although Eskom warned this morning (Tuesday 14 July) that the chances for load shedding are high this afternoon and tonight, schedules don’t predict a widespread effect on Florida or Roodepoort households.
In Block 3B (mostly Roodepoort) households will only experience load shedding once Stage 3 is implemented from 12 noon til 4.30pm, according to both City Power and the load shedding app, Grid Watch. No mention is made of possible load shedding in Block 7B (mostly Florida) today.
This morning early Eskom on twitter said the probability for load shedding this morning is low, but this evening is high following three days without implemented load shedding.
The Record will update should any changes be made to official schedules.
