Who said alcohol cannot be enjoyed during the week or mixed with dessert?
According to an online article, a bottle of Grand Marnier is sold every two seconds across the world.
In order to celebrate National Grand Marnier Day, a tall glass of this orange liqueur is encouraged.
This drink was created in the 1880s by Alexandre Marnier-Lapostolle and contains 40 per cent alcohol.
Apart from drinking it as a martini, it can be used to make soufflés and cranberry sauce.
