Liverpool SA to host soccer tournament
The tournament is also sending out an invitation to female soccer teams in the West Rand to participate.
More than 350 players from different age categories fill the Davidsonville Soccer Stadium every weekend.
The players participate in the newly formed Davidsonville Soccer League.
The senior league currently has seven teams participating while the U/9 to U/17 categories have 15 teams participating in the lower leagues.
The stadium will be the sports ground of choice when Liverpool SA, in partnership with the newly registered Davidsonville Soccer League and Roodepoort Sports Development Foundation host a soccer tournament in September.
The competition, with Keep our Kids off the street as the theme will have 16 senior teams participating and 16 junior teams each in the U/9, U/11 and U/14 age categories.
