First load shedding in July
Kick off your July with possible load shedding in your area.
Prepare your household for mid-week load shedding in Block 3B and Block 7B from Stage 1.
That’s right; on Wednesday (1 July) Block 3B (mostly Roodepoort) residents will be load shed from Stage 1 between 2pm and 6.30pm. The same slot goes for Stage 2 and an additional slot (10pm to 2.30am) will be added should Eskom decide to implement Stage 3.
Block 7B (mostly Florida) residents are spared load shedding at Stage 1 on Wednesday, but will be affected should Stage 2 or Stage 3 load shedding be implemented, from 2pm til 6.30pm.
On Thursday (2 July) Block 3B will not experience load shedding at Stage 1 or Stage 2, but will be affected should Stage 3 load shedding be implemented, from 6pm til 10.30pm.
Block 7B will be load shed at Stage 1, 2 and 3 from 2pm til 6.30pm, with an additional time slot at Stage 3 from 10pm til 2.30pm.
