Ramadan mubarak to all Muslim people

Today starts the month of fasting and prayer for all Muslim people.

The Record would like to wish all our Muslim readers a prosperous Ramadan as their month of fasting starts today.

Ramadan is a month where Muslims all over the world abstain from eating and drinking for the entire day. The duration lasts no more than 30 or 31 days.

During Ramadan, Muslims wake up early in the morning to eat before the sun rises and are only allowed to eat again after sunset.

This month is considered to be the holiest to them.
