ER24 will be hosting a live human art exhibition to raise awareness for National Blood Donor Month.

ER24 will be hosting a live human art exhibition to raise awareness for National Blood Donor Month.

The event will take place today from 9am to 6pm at Clearwater Mall.

The aim of the campaign is to emphasize the importance of blood donations and how much a difference each person who donates makes to those in need.

According to ER24, there are a number of trauma patients and patients with medical conditions who are in need of blood or blood products.

The South African National Blood Service (SANBS) goes through periods where collections decline as a result of people not donating blood.

ER24 also invites all people eligible to donate blood to visit the mall on the day.

There are certain requirements for those wanting to donate blood. Donors must be between the ages of 16 and 65, be a minimum weight of 50 kg, be in good health and live a sexually safe lifestyle.

The event is being held in collaboration with Accident Angels.
