Florida Cricket finish season on high note

Florida Cricket Club were awarded first place in the SU5 time league for 2015.

They won 10 of the 11 time-league matches they played from 25 January.

The award was presented to the SU5 team captain, Deen Kimmie at the Gauteng Cricket Board’s annual awards dinner held earlier this month at the Wanderers Stadium.

The club’s senior team also competed in the SU5 GCB league 2014/2015 where they faced off against 11 clubs from around the province in a 50-over-format.

They also claimed first position in the final league log results with their SU8 team placing third and the SU8 team finishing in fourth position.
