Masters Open upon us
This is the second time the club has been chosen by the Sables Players Association. The championship is a prestigious event in the district calendar.
Discovery Bowling Club has been chosen to host the Sables Open Masters Championships on 30 and 31 of May.
“We extend an invitation to all fellow bowlers and spectators to come along and enjoy the exciting display of competitive bowls that will be played throughout the tournament,” said Sables Players Association president Graeme Morton.
Commonwealth bowling gold medalists and Protea players such as Morgan Muvhango, Jill Pearson and Rika Lynn competing for the title of Sables Masters Champion.
The event, sponsored by Perfect Delivery, a major sponsor within Gauteng Bowls, has again agreed to sponsor the Sables Masters Championships.
Discovery Bowling Club has been chosen as the host club for the 2015 Sables Open Masters Championships.
“The Sables Players Association would like to thank club president Rob Mclarty, and the committee of Discovery Bowling Club for all their assistance in preparation for the tournament. And a big thanks to Perfect Delivery for their continued support towards bowls within the Sables District,” said Graeme.
