Pupils honoured at awards assembly

LITTLE FALLS – Trinityhouse High School Little Falls honours their pupils at a special awards assembly.

Trinityhouse High School Little Falls honoured their pupils at a special awards’ assembly held at the school on 8 May.

The assembly identified the top academic achievers from Grade 8 to 11 at the school. It also honoured the top athletes in cricket, swimming and tennis. The school’s choir performed their rendition of the song A Thousand Years before presentation of the awards commenced.

Principal at Trinityhouse High School Little Falls Lynne Davis was extremely proud of her pupils’ achievements and the positive school spirit that prevailed during the assembly. “For me it is really just about recognising the potential that our pupils have. Additionally, these special awards and achievements are evidence that we are participating fully and completely in a host of extra-curricular programmes as well,” she said.

Davis continued to explain that the school has seen a dramatic increase in academic and sporting achievements since the school’s initial opening in 2012. “The school carries academic standards at a high level. I am very blessed that the growth of the school has expanded so exponentially since its opening three years ago,” she said.
