RADIOKOP — Little ones at Junior College treat their mothers to a morning out.
Teachers and little pupils at the Junior College Snuggles treated all the mommies to tea, coffee and face painting on 8 May in Radiokop.
Dozens of mothers and their children enjoyed breakfast pastries together and shared precious moments with the set-up photo booth.
Joy Dickie, the Grade R teacher at the school, started off by reading a poem dedicated to mothers and the journey of motherhood.
“This is to show appreciation to everything that mothers do for us and all the love they never stop giving. We just want to treat the women that are mothers to our pupils. So enjoy some treats with your little ones and get your picture taken in the photo booth. So often, moms are the ones behind the camera, so today just enjoy being in front of it.”
The celebrations are ahead of Mother’s Day on 10 May.
