A case of Rabies has been confirmed, putting animal clinics in Roodepoort on alert.
According to unconfirmed reports, the rabies case occurred in Helderkruin after dogs containing the disease were found in a complex.
The state vet put out the alert and asked all animal owners to make sure their pets’ vaccinations are up to date.
Those unsure are urged to bring their pet to the nearest animal clinic.
