Hoërskool Roodepoort kicks off with soccer

Hoërskool Roodepoort has added the beautiful game to their smorgasbord of extra curricular activities.

Boys and girls can now enjoy soccer at the school and judging by the results from their first league games it is clear they have grabbed the opportunity with both hands.

Roodies played against Florida Park High and their U/14 boys team won 2-1 while the U/15 team gave Parkies a soccer lesson with a 5-0 victory.

The boys teams are coached by Thabo Lemao who played professional soccer himself and the girls team is coached by Michaela Sprangkaan who plays club soccer and matriculated from Roodepoort in 2013.
