Elderly man in wheelchair beaten during house robbery

According to reports on the Eblockwatch Facebook page an old man in a wheelchair was beaten and robbed in his home in Gardenia street, Randpark Ridge on 22 April.

Details are sketchy, but the incident apparently took place in broad daylight at around 12pm. A reliable source who cannot be named at this stage said, a laptop and cash was stolen during the robbery. It is suspected that there were three suspects.

The injured man was allegedly taken to Life Wilgeheuwel Hospital.
