Palmeros claim victory in Castle League fixture

Palmeros FC coach Jerobeam Koert was all smiles this weekend as his team beat visiting Godisanang FC this weekend in the Castle League fixture.

The match ended 4-2 with Anton Schatz scoring a brace while Jermaine Moyce and Iglesias Jaantjies scored a goal each.

This win puts Palmeros in 5th position on the log.

“It was a team performance and they played very well. What gave us the victory was the workrate of the players in the middle of the field,” said Jerobeam.

The coach pointed to striker problems and consistency as points to work on the next few days.

“We only played with one striker because our second one is not match fit. And what the team needs right now is consistency,” said the coach.
