Kaelynn shines at Gauteng Athletics

Kaelynn Swart from Hoërskool Bastion, SA Championships, Rustenburg has been selected into the Gauteng Schools athletics team after she brought home bronze in the SA Championships held in Rustenburg.

She competed in the U/19 400m and she also won a silver medal in the 4 x 400m relay.

She was also selected into the Gauteng Club athletics team. At the Gauteng Schools Athletics Championship, she finished second in the U/19 400m followed by a first place finish in the Gauteng Athletics Club Championships U/19 400m race.

Earlier this year, Kaelynn was awarded with a Victrix Ludorum at the PUK-Athletics competition held in Potchefstroom after she broke records in the 100m, 200m and 400m races.

Her coach Dirk Uys is proud of her results this year.
