Ontdekkers – Taxis: It was just a grappie!

Yes, our loyal readers, the article titled Solution for Ontdekkers –Taxi problem announced was an April Fool’s joke.

By the readers reactions though two things became clear: this is a serious issue that urgently needs to be (correctly) addressed and secondly that South Africans have become so used to the absurd state the country finds itself in that nothing shocks or surprise them anymore.

We sincerely hope that together, as the community and the community paper, we will keep on pushing to make our town a better place but also always have a moment to laugh at ourselves.
