The rape case against kwaito star Sipho Brickz Ndlovu that has been dragging on since 2013 once again had to be postponed yesterday.
Magistrate John Baloyi asked everyone in the Roodepoort Magistrates Court to leave the room in order to hear the first witness and accuser’s, who was a minor at the time of the alleged rape, testimony in camera. 15 minutes into her testimony she was emotionally overcome and had a breakdown.
Baloyi had to halt the proceedings and the case was postponed until 3 and 4 June.
