CEOs and politicians
Please remember don’t forget, It is not what you do, but what you get.
Chief Executive Officers (CEO) and politicians and the like,
Should be aware of marches and strikes!
Do they really believe they deserve such a large bonus?
For making decisions that weigh heavily upon us!
Do those at ESKOM not see the damage they have done?
Bringing load shedding to the country, affecting everyone!
Their CEO’s have the gall to take that which was not earned,
Is it not a case of lessons which were never learned?
What about the Mining Magnates?
They earn their bonuses while sitting in a chair!
Going underground they don’t really care.
While miners risk catching silicosis and others might get tuberculosis!
Construction CEO’s also earn big money, While living a life of milk and honey!
Their workers are in danger, working with machinery, They don’t have the time to admire the scenery!
Politicians earn a salary for big talk, But when action is required, they take a walk!
They’re never around when trouble is brewing, always proposing, but never doing!
In any company, it seems to be fair,
That share-holders and employees should have their share. Not necessarily equal sharing, but fair sharing,
All pertinent factors should have a bearing! Any excess profits and bonuses, that may come their way, should make customers and employees very happy!
CEO bonuses is one of the reasons for the countries unrest, for the strikes, the marches, xenophobia, and services protest.
The large difference between those who have got and those poor souls who have not!
While CEOs and Politicians are saying “I’m all right jack” You are never going to get any money back!!!!
Let this be a wake-up call,
For Companies, CEOs, politicians and all!
