Being a patient with Hospice for the last three to four years it is with sadness that I have been informed that Hospice West Rand has closed their doors finally due to lack of funding.
Two dedicated and caring staff members, Sister’s Magdaleen and Susan have taken the initiative to carry on their work, at their own expense.
I wish them all the success in their endevour setting up on their own. It is sad to see Hospice Westrand go and other Hospices struggling to survive with no government funding at all.
