Enjoy the perfect blend
RUIMSIG — Coffee and Friends make the perfect blend with Sarda.
Local NGO South Africans Riding for the Disabled Association (Sarda) is inviting residents and friends to a coffee morning on 18 March in Ruimsig.
Bring your friends and friends of friends to enjoy a cuppa at R50 a pop for adults and R25 for children, from as early as 10am.

Sarda is hosting the coffee morning as part of their fundraising projects to continue with the work that they do for disabled children in neighbouring schools.
“This is a great way for the community to support people with disabilities. We also urge local businesses to assist us with financial donations, It can be just R50. We have a lot of upcoming initiatives to raise funds for the centre because we rely solely on donations,” said Sarda’s fundraiser Julia Morris.
The organisation is also planning the Tekkie Tax Campaign and stickers are already on sale for the upcoming campaign toward animal welfare, disability and education.
There are currently 11 aquatic therapists who provide assistance for disabled children at the centre.
Morris said each child is assessed and paired with a horse that is best suited for them, in terms of size and stature.
“The movement of the horse mimics the movement of the human pelvis and this is great stimulation both mentally and physically.”
