Four arrested for causing grievous bodily harm
FEATHERBROOKE — Three men and a woman have been arrested for assaulting a security officer.
Four suspects were arrested on 26 February for the assault of a security officer at Featherbrooke Estate.
“The four are between the ages of 23 and 41 years old – three males and one female – and they have been charged with assault with grievous bodily harm,” Warrant Officer Hitler Ngwenya of Muldersdrift Police said.
On 17 February, the security guard responded to a noise complaint at a residence in Featherbrooke Estate and was assaulted on his arrival. He suffered minor injuries as result.
The suspects are expected to appear at the Krugersdorp Magistrates’ Court soon. WO Ngwenya added that investigations relating to the case were ongoing and more people were expected to be arrested.
Ngwenya urged residents, particularly in estate properties, to be very wary of who they let in on the premises and always report strange behaviour
