‘Live it up before you are too darn old’
ALLEN'S NEK – Educator writes a book with tips for growing old and what to do before you are too old to do anything.
With age comes experience and that is what helped retired teacher Glen Greenway to write a book with advice for getting old.
The book is called Live It Up before you are Too Darn Old and Greenway explained that he used his life as the model from which to craft this book.
“I have a degree in psychology and have had about 50 years of experience in education and life in general and I used all of this ‘experience’ while writing the book.”
He added that the following topics are all discussed in detail in the book: male and female menopause, self-defence, sex, important financial moves, why it is important to drink red wine, planning your own funeral, what to do when a loved one dies and where to retire.
“Remember that our lives are these gigantic mirrors that reflect back exactly what we project forth. So this is a relevant book that underscores the necessity for taking personal responsibility for one’s life and choices, for making the most use of our blessings and gifts and for being grateful to God for this opportunity to find out who we really are and where we are going.”
