Six injured in truck collision

Six people were injured this morning after a collision between a truck and a bakkie at the Ontdekkers Road and Conradie Street intersection.

Russel Meiring, an ER24 spokesperson said paramedics arrived on the scene and found both vehicles in the middle of the slow lane.

Paramedics assessed the situation and found five occupants from the bakkie and one passenger from the truck had sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate.

The patients were treated and transported to the Netcare Krugersdorp Hospital for further treatment.

The cause of the collision is not yet known but police were on scene for further investigations.
