Harley Owners Group ditches Valentine’s for Clarens
ROODEPOORT – The Harley Owners Group are taking their shiny Harley Davidson's on a Rally to Clarens for the Valentines weekend.
In celebration of Valentine’s Day the Harley Owners Group’s (HOG) Clearwater Chapter decided to turn the day into a weekend trip.
The group of Harley Davidson aficionados are planning to take their shiny steeds to Clarens from 13 to 15 February.
HOG. member Craig Hardman said that HOGs from Durban and Bloemfontein will join the Clearwater Chapter as they start off with their trip on 13 February at 9am.
“The trip starts at 9am and we are planning to arrive at the Clarens Harley Village at 3pm and the party will start shortly thereafter.”
He added that the next day the group will do various activities that range from photo shoots to shopping, an auction and a big braai.
“The rally is about getting away from it all and having fun, and nothing beats the open road on a Harley Davidson.”
Hardman added that entries for the Clarens Rally closes on 7 February, so any Harley fans who haven’t entered yet has to do so before the closing date.
