Nine unlit roads to receive streetlights

RUIMSIG – City Power decides to light up Ruimsig by installing 350 street lights along nine roads in the suburb.

The City of Johannesburg’s electricity entity City Power announced that it will install a total of 350 streetlights in nine different roads in the suburb.

City Power spokesperson Sol Masolo said, “The following roads will receive street lights: Hans, Henry, Johan, Bothma and Cruiser streets and Potgieter, Pierre, Glover and Wilge roads. We plan to finish the project before 31 March.”

Ward 97 councillor Jaco Engelbrecht thanked the entity for stepping in and making Ruimsig a safer place for motorists, especially at night.
