Arrows of Destiny welcomed their new Grade 1 pupils on 14 January. Deputy principal Joy de Saint Pern said parents were very emotional as they waved goodbye to their children who felt all grown up on their first day of big school.
“Our Grade 1s start off the year with the reading readiness programme which enables them to start reading in just a short while,”explained De Saint Pern.
She added that Arrows of Destiny prides themselves on their Christian-based curriculum which allows pupils to accelerate at their own pace. “Children receive individual attention within the small classroom environment, where a supervisor and a monitor helps them reach their full potential and instills a love for learning within each pupil,” she concluded.
