During back-to-school week, Mr South Africa Top 12 Finalist Armand du Plessis decided to visit his old nursery school called Sonstraaltjies Pre-Primary on 14 January.
“As the new academic year started at most schools, this week I thought it would be a good idea to support my old Alma Mater.” He surprised the pupils with gifts for each of them and to wish them luck for 2015.
“Last year they supported me with my Mr SA blanket drive and it was time to give something back and to go and thank them. I will be working very closely with this school as they will assist me with a couple of projects throughout 2015. I strongly believe that education is the most powerful weapon which we can use to change the world.”
