Smiles and happy faces on first day of school

It was all smiles for Grade 1 pupils at Panorama Primary on the first day of school on 14 January. There was no time to waste for the pupils and teachers as lessons were already on, marking the start of the 2015 academic year. Among the 150 new Grade 1 pupils the school welcomed, there is a set of triplets. There wasn’t a dull moment among the three and their bond was evident as one of the three, Amarachi Ikuneme mentioned that she wished she was in the same class as her siblings. “I just wonder if they are alright in their classrooms.” As the other two came to take the picture, she went on to explain that her brother and sister actually look like her father and she looks like her mother. The other sister, Oluchi agrees to this and said Amarachi took their mother’s looks. “My mom even has the same body as Amarachi, they look the same in everything,” said Oluchi. Grade 1 teacher Tracy Fiddes said their pupils were all settled in and she believes the orientation they had at the school really prepared the pupils for their first day.
