Expect a much-needed drop in petrol price

Motorists can breathe a sigh of relief in the New Year with the price of petrol expected to drop by more than R1 on 7 January.

According to the Central Energy Fund, the price for 93 and 95 unleaded fuel will drop by R1.27 and R1.23 respectfully. The price of diesel will decrease with R1.05 per litre while the price of paraffin will get a R1.44 cut.

The drop in international oil prices can be thanked for the drastic and much needed fuel decrease.
