A Horison couple gave birth to a baby boy on Christmas evening
With only 30 minutes left before the end of Christmas day, a Horison couple became proud parents of a healthy baby boy.
Sharne Viljoen gave birth to baby Liam after she went to Netcare Krugersdorp Private Hospital on Christmas Eve for a check up.
Accompanied by the baby’s father Julian Botha, Viljoen had complained of abdominal pains.However, at the hospital the couple were told the abdominal pains were labour pains.
Baby Liam, who was due on the 3 January 2015 weighs 2,8 kilograms.
No hospitals or clinics in the Roodepoort area reported any babies born on Christmas day.
