Santa surprises residents
WELTEVREDEN PARK – Welview Resident's Association organises a little surprise for residents in their area on 6 December.
On 6 December in the early morning hours resident Willem Naudé was woken up to a pleasant surprise.
“I heard a rumble of engines and I heard voices and as soon as I popped out to peer through my gate I saw Santa on a motorcycle.
“Santa was being escorted by various patrol cars while he was waving at residents in the area – it was a special surprise.”
Welview Resident’s Association chairperson Annie Pinnock said, “We arranged for Father Christmas to visit residents who live in our area and we were surprised when residents and their children came out and waved to Santa on his bike.
“It was a small thank you to each of the residents in our area that supported us through 2014 and we wish everyone a happy, safe and quiet festive season,” concluded Pinnock.
