Update: City Power reacts after racist file name

City Power’s already tarnished reputation due to load shedding took another knock after a load shedding schedule was given a racist title on their web site.

Two PDF files were named ‘nigger’ which is a racial slur.

According to City Power spokesperson Sol Masolo the mistake in crept because of a “over excited intern”.
He said it is higly offensive and that the file would be taken off.

A short while later City Power tweeted “City Power would like to express its profound regret at the post which was twitted (sic) earlier, titled in a less than diplomatic manner”.
