Another round of weekend load shedding

South Africans should brace themselves for a third weekend of load shedding.

According to Eskom spokesperson Andrew Etzinger the shedding will commence “late this morning”. Although today’s load shedding will be stage two it is not clear yet whether Saturday and Sunday’s load shedding will be stage one or two.

Etzinger has attributed the nation wide black out to low diesel reserves.
“Diesel reserves are basically depleted and we are therefore experiencing a difficult situation,” said Etzinger.
