Make your way to the Radiokop Xmas market

RADIOKOP — The Resident's Association is hosting a festive inspired Market Day to make this a merry Christmas for a local charitable organisation.

The Resident’s Association in Radiokop is opening their hearts this Christmas with their first Market Day on 30 November.

All community members are encouraged to attend and take part in the gift of giving. Stalls will be set up to ensure a fun day out and keep everyday entertained.

Ingrid Dinsmore, the association’s convenor said, “We will not be charging anyone to set up a stall but we encourage them to give a donation. All proceeds will go to the South Africans Riding for the Disabled Association (Sarda) in Ruimsig. There will be a couple of fun competitions on the day.”

Competitions will be judged in a number of categories including – Best dressed dog, best Christmas hat and best stall – so every person is encouraged to let their creative juices run wild.

The event is free for anyone that wants to attend from 10am until the late afternoon. Stalls set up will include a range of goodies such as books, jewellery and, of course, delicious treats. Community members are encouraged to come out in their numbers and make it a fun day out for the whole family, while doing something good for a local NGO.

Dinsmore concluded “We chose Sarda because it an NGO in our area so it is close to home. We are looking forward to the day and the committee collectively chose to work with Sarda. There will be more than enough treats for everyone.”
