Grade 7s bid farewell in style

RUIMSIG — From seniors to juniors, grade 7s pupils bid farewell to their primary school

Grade 7 pupils at Maragon Private Schools bid farewell to primary school days in a glitzy affair themed Wonderland on 31 October.

The grand hall at the school in Ruimsig was transformed into a fantasy wonderland for Alice and her furry friends to come out and mingle with the boys and girls before officially entering the ‘teenage world’.

The entrances were anything but boring, with a sports car or two turning heads. Clad in black and white decorations, the set-up was classy and created soft, romantic lighting that would surely lead to an unforgettable night.

Maragon educator Yvtette Steward noted, “We hope the Grade 7s had an evening that they will remember for a long time. We wish to thank the parents and staff who contributed to making this event an unforgettable one for everybody involved. Of course, we wish the pupils the very best for the future and hopefully, they will not be strangers.”

The guests of honour arrived in true style, strutting on the red carpet to the excitement of parents and teachers. With a wet bar and candy station set up, they quickly kicked off the heels and danced the night away underneath the moonlight.
