Musical madness at Allen Glen High School
ALLENS NEK – All girl band Skarlit will be playing at the school this weekend.
Local all-girl band, Skarlit, will be performing at Allen Glen High School on 1 November in order to help the school’s Grade 11 group to raise funds for their coming matric year.
“We’re very excited to come play at our school,” said Allen Glen pupil and Skarlit band member, Ricky-Lee ‘Rixie’ Campbell. “It’s a really cool opportunity to help our school raise funds.”
Campbell also said that she hopes that playing in front of their school friends will inspire them to also begin picking up instruments. “Now they [school friends]will understand why I am so obsessed with music and being in a band,” she exclaimed.
The show is set to begin at 6pm and all friends and families of pupils are welcome to join. Tickets are R50 per person.
