Miss West Rand Pageant change of venue

Dear Miss West Rand contestants,

The organisers of the 28th Miss West Rand pageant want to thank each and every participant, parent and group member for their continuous participation and support during the past couple of weeks leading to this spectacular evening.

The organisers of the annual Miss West Rand pageant was regrettably informed that the pre-booked venue, formerly known as Discover Lodge – Golden Sands Lodge was sold off to a new propriety that has no prior knowledge of the pageant or any approved booking schedules. The organisers always take the greatest care in booking exclusive use venues, where in this instance, we’re legally informed of the contrary.

The new chosen location for the pageant will be the function hall at Protea Rif Laerskool.

With all of our contestants and relatives in mind, we are deeply touched and understand that this sudden change may cause some frustration due to added work load, hence the formal communication explaining our way forward and the opportunity that lies within.

The newly selected venue is not a newcomer to our event calendar and has hosted functions with great personalities and TV stars. All guests must bring their picnic basket with drinking glasses and beverages because bar facilities are not available; seating and eating will still remain as scheduled.

We are sincerely sorry for the inconvenience caused, but please inform your guests accordingly.
