Not to be missed performances at Silverstar Casino
MULDERSDRIFT - Some of the top acts in the entertainment industry set to perform at Silverstar Casino.
MULDERSDRIFT – Be sure not no miss the sensational songstress Riana Nel, who will be performing at Silverstar Casino on 24 October. With songs that include elements of pop and country, this amazing songbird is set to wow Silverstar’s audiences.
Riana had firmly placed her roots in gospel music with the release of the albums: Oopmond, The Cure and Someone with Skin, and won many awards including the Crescendo Award in 2000. Her latest album, Die Moeite Werd has reached platinum status and continues to top South African Music charts.
Nel has also starred in the Afrikaans movie, ‘n Saak Van Geloof alongside her co-star Robbie Wessels, the well-acclaimed South African singer, songwriter and comedian.
On 31 October, André the Hilarious Hypnotist will also be on stage at the casino. When most of us hear the word ‘hypnotist’, we picture the mysterious hypnotist figure common in movies, comic books and television. This fateful figure that gets you into a semi-sleep mode and feeling like a zombie. If you have not heard or seen a hilarious hypnotist, then be sure to join Silverstar on 31 October on a completely different experience that will have you laughing from the beginning to the end.
Often confused as a mentalist and magician, André the Hilarious Hypnotist, is actually an award-winning comedian and stage hypnotist who has the audience in the palm of his hand from the beginning of his show to the very end. His dry sense of humour is well loved for making people act like washing machines, tumble driers, ballerinas, singers and life guards.
André does this by using his powers of persuasion to convince volunteers from the audience to be hypnotised and become the stars of his performance.
With a style all of his own, irresistible stage personality and a reputation for mesmerizing audiences with his four-octave voice and vocal acrobatics, the exceptionally talented singer Chris Chameleon is set to set the stage on fire with his performance on 28 November.
Innovative, prolific and endlessly creative, Chameleon has become known in South Africa and abroad as a musical phenomenon. He has won rave reviews and numerous awards over the past six years.
Awards include two South African Music Awards (Samas) and a Medal of Honour from the South African Academy of Science and Arts.
All shows will start at 8pm.
