Councillor nominates Record for Ice Bucket Challenge
DA Florida constituency and Dorca's Aid also nominated.
The inevitable has happened – the record has been nominated for the Ice Bucket Challenge.
The culprit is none other than DA Councillor Gert Niemand who was nominated by his son Gert.
Niemand also has nominated Dorca’s Aid and the DA’s Florida constituency. Although the record has accepted the challenge, there has been a lot of murmuring around the office over the size of the councillor’s bucket.
The Ice Bucket Challenge, sometimes called the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, is an activity that involves dumping a bucket of ice water on someone’s head to promote awareness of the disease amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and encourages donations to research.
The record team will perform the challenge on 10 September.
