Staff and customers at CNA in Town Square Shopping Centre became part of crime statistics during a robbery on 8 September.
According to Security in Practice CEO Louis Grobler, the robbery took place at around 11am. “Three perpetrators entered the site and instructed the staff to walk toward the back of the shop. They then managed to take two laptops, four cell phones and R2 000 in cash.”
He added that the perpetrators left the scene in a white BMW 3 Series.
Honeydew Police spokesperson Warrent Officer Karen Jacobs confirmed that the robbery took place and added that no suspects have been arrested yet.
Grobler added that if anyone has more details about the criminals they can give the Honeydew Police Station a call.
The manager at CNA refused to give a comment about the robbery and what exactly happened.
