Police members were doing stop-and-search routines this morning (13 August).
When they stopped a 29-year-old male in Station Street, Roodepoort they searched him and found dagga and an undisclosed amount of cash on the man. The man was arrested and detained at the Roodepoort Police Station.
At Fourth Avenue a 22-year-old male also was stopped and searched and found to be in the possession of dagga. The man was arrested and taken to Roodepoort Police Station.
Both men will appear in the Roodepoort Magistrate’ Court soon on charges of possession and dealing in dagga.
