A warm thank you from Ebenezer

It just goes to show you how generous our community is, said Von Buddenbrock.

From Ebenezer House in Witpoortjie, we would just like to thank the community for their kind consideration to date.

Firstly my thanks goes out to one of the Ebenezer resident’s sons, Jason, who managed to repair my personal laptop. Unfortunately, this laptop is not fit for office use and we are still desperately looking for a laptop for administration work at Ebenezer.

My sincere thanks also goes out to the community, of which individuals have helped us with groceries. They’re really appreciated, whether it is a big or small donation. Our appeal for groceries with the record is proving fruitful and we have had three donations last week. The need is ever-present, though.

We are still looking for individuals or companies that can assist us with or make a donation towards the maintenance of the houses. We’re struggling with pipe leaks and almost every wall needs a fresh coat of paint.

I recently had yet another call for a donation. It just goes to show how generous people are. Thank you, Roodepoort!
