New church to serve Roodepoort and Krugersdorp
"Everybody is welcome," says Pastor Mike Boddington.
A new church opening in Silverfields is thanks to the proud work and efforts of Pastor Mike Boddington and senior Pastor Mafaro Maposa.
The church is located at 21 Carol Road, just off Ontdekkers Road between Roodepoort and Krugersdorp, and is aptly named the New Testament Church. The church seeks to become a multicultural place of worship. Boddington says the church is a renewal church that focuses on “signs and wonders and prophecies”.
Services will be held on Sundays at 10am until 11.30am and hopefully will expand to include evening services soon. From 1 August the pastors also aim to include Roodepoort and Krugersdorp’s youth by having a movie fellowship night on Fridays at 6pm. Religious and spiritual movies will be screened.
“Everybody is welcome,” Boddington says, inviting all curious residents to join them.
