Out of Australia, into the ‘Shark Tank’

Former Brumbies reserve fly-half Lionel Cronje has signed for the Sharks.

Lionel Cronje has signed for the Natal Sharks after leaving the ACT Brumbies.

The former Junior Boks, Stormers, Bulls and Lions fly-half will be hoping to finally find his feet at the Sharks after a difficult time in Australia.

The 25-year-old only managed three games off the bench for the Brumbies early this season when Christian Lealiifano was injured.

Cronje signed a two-year contract with the Sharks and will arrive in Durban before the start of this year’s Currie Cup.
