MULDERSDRIFT – Maragon Private School held a site visit at its new school – Avianto Pre-Primary School – on Pierre Road in Muldersdrift, set to open its doors in January 2015.
Marketing manager for the Maragon Group Belinda Espag said the location is what makes this new school extra special.
“Avianto Pre-Primary will be located inside the 250 hectare Avianto Lifestyle Estate. The estate is located just outside Muldersdrift, and this makes it extra quiet and the perfect location for youngsters to attend school.”
Avianto principal Monica de Beer said the school will focus on subjects like natural sciences and mathematics.
“Our focus will be on each child’s individualism as each child is different and has different ways of learning,” said De Beer.
Maravest Chief Operations Officer Jopie Maasdam said sports will also play a integral part in the development of the pupils.
“We are going to have two Astro Turfs, an indoor pool and a tennis court. The pupils will receive special attention in whatever sport they want to participate.”
He added that the Lifestyle Estate will have three different mountain biking routes that anyone can come and use.
“They are open facilities so people only need to bring their driver’s licenses with them, and then they will be able to enter the premises and make use of all the facilities.”
The day ended off with a tour around the grounds where parents and children had the opportunity to experience what the school will be like.
