Coenie joins Cheetahs
Coenie Van Wyk will join the Cheetahs on a two-year deal when the Currie Cup ends.
The Cheetahs have added another prospect for their backline by enhancing their stocks with the signature of Pumas fullback Coenie van Wyk.
The 26-year-old, who was on the books of the Lions for this year’s Currie Cup, will join the Cheetahs once the Currie Cup comes to an end.
According to Volksblad, Van Wyk will join the Free State club on a two-year deal ahead of next year’s Super Rugby competition.
The Bellville-born player can play as either a fly-half or full-back.
