Appeal for public’s assistance after chain-store burglary

On Monday morning (30 June) just past six, a business owner in Goldman Street arrived to find his store, the Pick n Pay, broken into.

Several doors, cables and the ceiling above the cash room were damaged severely. A glass door also was smashed.

The owner alleges that the safe was blown up and that an undisclosed amount of cash was stolen.

The Florida Police is appealing to the public to assist with any information that may lead to the arrest of the perpetrators.
