A group of pupils from Dayspring Study Centre (Constantia Kloof) and LearnWrite School (Allen’s Nek) recently enjoyed an inspirational school outing to visit the Da Vinci – The Genius exhibition.
Cindy Blaser of public relations company The Phoenix Partnership said, the secondary schools’ pupils were amazed at the exhibits on display inside the most comprehensive exhibition of its kind to bring to life the genius of Leonardo da Vinci.
“The exhibition has journeyed to 40 cities and has been seen by more than four million people worldwide. There are more than 200 unique pieces on display, and the students were blown away as they caught a peek into the awe-inspiring world of renaissance giant, Leonardo da Vinci, including learning about 25 secrets of the world’s most famous painting, the Mona Lisa,” Blaser added.
The exhibition was due to end on 22 June but has now been extended until 27 July, to meet increasing demand and is currently on at The Amazing Place in Woodmead.
