Get ready for Thursday Mayhem at Vacca Matta, Montecasino. This week it will be presented by DJ Reubzo and Problem Kidz. Moenie Bacchus Nel live by Saartjie se Garage in Melville misloop nie. Saartjie kondig met trots aan dat Bacchus Nel in haar Garage gaan speel. Op ‘n katastrofiese dag het ‘n klein Volksie voor ‘n vragmotor ingery en ‘n einde gemaak aan Stephen Nel, die deeltydse versekeringsverkoopsman van Standerton. Uit die wrak van verwronge metaal het daar egter iets merkwaardigs gebeur – die geboorte van digter, sanger en liedjieskrywer Bacchus Nel. Hy begin om 7nm speel. The World’s Fair 1893 at The Bohemian, Westdene. They’re definitely not putting together a compilation album of the hottest acts in Joburg, and even if they were, it definitely wouldn’t be bringing you some great bands, and awesome tunes. There most certainly wouldn’t be a big party to launch this compilation, and there is no way that it would be happening at the Bohemian. Get ready to be blown away by Quietly Concerned, The Meerkat Mob, Jerry And The Bandits, Alright Goodnight, Fridge Poetry, Gangsterdam, The Castellos and Gâteau de Boeuf. Chicago’s Sundays at Chicago’s Piano Bar, Randpark Ridge. There is no better way to unwind on a Sunday than at Chicago’s Piano Bar. Cure your weekend brain at Kitchener’s Classic Hangover Monday in Braamfontein. DJs will be spinning records and the sound that will have medium wave signals have the property of following the curvature of the earth (the ground wave) at all times, and also refracting off the ionosphere at night (sky wave). This makes this frequency band ideal for both local and international service, depending on the time of day. DJs start spinning at 4pm.
