A man tragically died after he was knocked over on the N1 Western Bypass yesterday afternoon (18 June).
At around 12 noon Netcare 911 and other services responded to the accident scene on the N1 between Gordon Road and 14th Avenue in Florida Glen.
They found that a man, believed to be in his forties, died after he was knocked over by a heavy goods vehicle.
Police will investigate the cause of the accident and preceding events, says Netcare 911 spokesperson Santi Steinmann.

The pedestrian on Wednesday was a man named Larry Botes. The accident was caused by Larry having a heart attack and fell in front of the truck. He was part owner of a non profit organisation called we care the most. He was a great man and was very mind set and determined on helping to save the world. He was very loved and will be missed dearly.
